Saber Marionette J Aired in 2000 on ABS-CBN, This has become one of my most favorite anime. The show is about a planet where only men exist... all females are androids (marionettes) - it happened when a ship that left Earth due to overpopulation had problems and a shuttle managed to crash on a nearby planet - leaving only 6 male scientists... cloning helped them rebuild a civilization of 6 colonies. The above mentioned Marionettes are mainly servants - showing no emotion except for the higher intelligent palace guards, who show little, but interact with others - our main character, Otaru manages to stumble on to one and awaken it... Lime; she has emotions and is at first thought just to be defective junk - he then manages to awaken Cherry and Bloodberry - they too have emotions - and it is discovered that they have a "Maiden Circuit" or "Virgin Circuit" (in fansubs) which allows them emotion and love. A neighboring colony who is planning for war also has 3 such Marionettes - so begins our story...
